How to add a search box to your web site
From an initial survey, there seems to be a number of ways to add a search box to your website. I'm currently experimenting with Google Search (and Freefind , but, it doesn't seem to be working yet).
Embed Google or Yahoo search box into your personal web site
Both Google and Yahoo offer search boxes for your personal web site.
Yahoo Search Builder allows you to add a search box that looks like the following:

Google has an app similiar to the one above that can be found at Google Custom Search Engine.
